Hi Everyone! I'll be taking a small, 1 week blogging hiatus while I stroll along the Seine, eat ratatouille and pretend to be Canadian. See you next week!
Ahhh, Paris, do have fun Susan! And don't forget to stick the red maple leaf on your baggage! ;) Can't wait to hear all about your trip when you return.
Hi Estelle, Thanks for the tip. Bought a big jar of cornichons to accompany the winter fondues. We stayed down the street from the bakery that won the prize for "la meilleure baguette de Paris, 2004". Needless to say, breakfasts and sandwiches were stellar.
Salut Haalo!
Hi Lotus, I saw a backpacker with a Canadian flag and really wanted to ask him, "Hey, are you REALLY Canadian." but I controlled myself. You have no idea how much the average Parisian n the street loves Canadians. They melt whenever I lie to them that I'm from there.
Merci beaucoup Ivonne et Paz!
Tanna, Paris was glorious even in very hot weather. I "strolled" (who am I kidding, I marched) to the tune of 4 blisters. It was great to be out and about there.
Hey Susan,
ReplyDeleteLucky, lucky you! Can you eat a "sandwich jambon-beurre-cornichons" for me, made with nice and crunchy baguette ? :-)
Have a great trip!
Have a wonderful trip Susan!
