"You Grow Girl" Published My Recipe!
My very favorite gardening website, You Grow Girl, just published my recipe for Hortopita (Greens Pie), a dish like Spinach pie but that can be made from any greens including the dandelion "weeds" from your garden (that is if you don't spray them with anything!) I'm so happy because as YGG claims, "If gardening really is the new rock n' roll, then Yougrowgirl.com is indie-rock" a motto after my own heart. Check it out.

Congratulations on having your recipe published! I will have to give it a try..I am now wishing the city wasn't so vigilant about getting rid of our weeds! ;( I might use other greens though. Mustard leaves maybe?

Ivonne, I bought that book for some friends but have never read it myself. Could you say why you took it back?
Lotus, Yeah, I grew up in the sort of place where weeds meant you were a bad neighbor. A shame. You can use all kinds of greens for this whether they be tender like spinach or tough and bitter. Mustard greens would be great.

You grow girl is an awesome site.. long time fan... did you ever see Gayla's donutty website before she took it down? Was a fantastic site dedicated to nothing but donuts.. go figure!
